Sarah & Chris

Lead Vocals (The Siren) + Lead Vocals / MC (The Suave)

Sarah was blessed with the voice. At a young age she was accepted into an elite arts school where she began mastering her instrument. She continued her classical training while minoring in Vocal Performance at Muskingum University. Sarah and Chris first met in Zanesville, Ohio, where Sarah was stage manager for a local production and Chris worked as a stagehand. They landed their first gig together as entertainers for the Miss Ohio Scholarship Program and have been performing side by side ever since. Sarah's musical influences include Patsy Cline, Bette Midler, and Celine Dion. Offstage, Sarah and Chris are partners in every sense. They live in Bolivar, Ohio raising their three boys and one little dog, Charlie, all 120 pounds of him. Sarah also uses her gift in her role as an Account Executive with Traditions Health Hospice, bringing music and joy to senior communities across the state. It was at Church of the Holy Trinity that Sarah and Chris met Keith and Lindsay Fockler. That connection sparked the formation of SLiCK31, a band whose versatility, authenticity, and undeniable talent make it a refreshing musical anomaly.

John Doscher, Guitar / VocalsJohn

John Doscher

Guitar / Vocals . The Kool Kat

John got his start at 10 years old when he began taking guitar lessons. In the mid eighties he started performing professionally in Kent, Akron, and Cleveland, Ohio. Around that time he began recording demos, EPs, and full length recordings, feeling grateful and inspired by the flourishing live music scene of the 80s. While still performing he attended Walsh University and took education courses, doing his student teaching at Canton McKinley Senior High School and Pleasant View School for the Arts. In 1994 he began teaching guitar, bass, music theory, and composition to 75 students weekly, and he continues to teach guitar, bass, ukulele, banjo, and mandolin with no plans on stopping. He has become a professional producer and arranger fluent in digital programming and production, and has taught internationally with students from Germany, Australia, and South Africa. Starting in 2005 he was lead guitarist for The Darlins. In 2008 he began performing around 80 shows a year with Tailor Made Classics, then with The Record Party, sharing the stage with northeast Ohio's most influential musicians. John considers himself not only a musician but a huge fan of music. If you are looking to talk about music or want to learn some more about it, John is the man for the job.

Lindsay Fockler, Keys / Sax / Keytar / VocalsLindsay

Lindsay Fockler

Keys / Sax / Keytar / Vocals . The Octopus

Lindsay hails from a musical family. Her father is Clint Alguire, the drummer of SLiCK31. Her mother is a university trained pianist and educator. Lindsay began studying piano under her mother's tutelage at age four. She was in band and choir in middle school, studying clarinet and saxophone. She furthered her musical resume at Baldwin Wallace University's Conservatory of Music with a double major. Despite a life of music, music was not to be her profession. However, it remained her passion and she stayed connected by being music director at Tusky Valley High School and Middle School on top of a full time career. Three events changed Lindsay's musical direction in recent years: her marriage to Keith Fockler, a discovered passion for electronic keyboards, and her friendship with vocalists Chris Allen and Sarah Warfield. All of which culminated in the formation of SLiCK31. So what do you do when you are a keyboardist, saxophonist, and a vocalist? You do it all, often at the same time, which Lindsay can and does, earning her the nickname The Octopus. Her versatility allows SLiCK31 to perform multi layered and highly produced music seldom performed live without the aid of loops or pre recorded backing tracks.

Keith Fockler, Bass / VocalsKeith

Keith Fockler

Bass / Vocals . The Count

Keith began his musical career in grade school as a trumpet player in marching, concert, and jazz bands. In high school Keith changed direction and began playing the drums. He played the quad toms in marching band and the drum set for the jazz band and for a cover band formed with high school classmates. At Grove City College, Keith and his roommate wrote songs and played together in several bands, competing in and earning awards in battle of the band competitions. During his college days Keith transitioned from playing the drums to the bass guitar, which has now been his main instrument for the past 25 years. Keith is an entrepreneur and makes his living as a professional business consultant. He still tinkers with the drums and guitar but continues to focus his efforts on his passion of playing the bass and setting the tone with the SLiCK31 rhythm section.

Clint Alguire, DrumsClint

Clint Alguire

Drums . The Wizard

Clint has been a drummer for four decades. He has played in the pit orchestra for the Canton Players Guild, with the New Philadelphia Philharmonic, and now in the vocal centric band SLiCK31. He has also played eight years with the Nashville based singer songwriter Patrick Sweany, touring the U.S. opening shows for the Black Keys, Buddy Guy, and Double Trouble, among others. Sweany's song Them Shoes, with Alguire on drums, is in rotation on satellite radio and on the personal playlist of actor Matthew McConaughey. He also drums for the iconic 15 60 75, better known as the Numbers Band, whose music has been covered by Chrissie Hynde, Johnny Rotten, and more. The Numbers Band, with Clint behind the kit, played a sold out audience in New York's Bowery Electric in Greenwich Village in 2013. Clint and bassist composer arranger Jeff Beitzel work regularly with other artists to record five albums of new music every year. In August 2017 Clint joined SLiCK31 by happenstance. When the original drummer opted out, he agreed to fill in until a replacement could be hired. Clint has been with SLiCK31 ever since.
